San Mateo Tree Removal Bee Rescue

Received a call from the city of San Mateo to save a feral bee colony from the base of a Siberian elm slated for removal. It’s always amazing to watch these guys climbing with chainsaws and surgically cutting down a tree suspended by ropes. After moving a few sheets of calm and brewed into the new hive box, the bees happily moved right in.
